Support Create A Path

Create A Path strives to develop stronger family and community support networks for adolescents who are involved in the juvenile justice system or who are exhibiting problematic behaviors that warrant intervention. We offer free-of-charge comprehensive educational and support services, that foster adolescents’ social and emotional development, while providing opportunities to create and achieve self-declared artistic, educational and vocational goals. We work to prevent adolescents from involvement with the law by equipping them with the leadership and entrepreneurial skills necessary to develop and run their own programs or businesses, resulting in lasting social change in their community. Our organization acknowledges the psychological impact of poverty and discrimination. We use this insight to help adolescents develop optimistic and empowering self-concepts. Create A Path’s central objectives are to decrease juvenile justice involvement and strengthen communities by helping this at-risk population become more prepared to navigate educational and professional settings.
