About Us

Whether you are looking for ways to increase peace and productivity in your home or organization, seeking individual guidance or just wanting an inspirational story to learn from, Family Guiding has it. We increase the amount of peace and joy in your life by guiding your self-growth and your interactions with family and community members. Our non-judgmental and fresh perspective supports you in being comfortable in uncomfortable feelings and empowers you to make the changes you need.

Our Mission:

Family Guiding is an organization devoted to supporting individuals in growing toward their highest potential. Our philosophy is founded on a belief that each family and organization we serve is unique, with its own culture and needs; therefore, we take a holistic approach, offering guidance in many accessible forms. We are dedicated to translating empirical research into everyday tools and strategies that everyone can use. We are strongly committed to raising social consciousness and bridging the gaps within and between communities.

Our Approach:

Psychodynamic Behaviorism is the term we use to describe our approach to helping individuals and families reach their highest potential and create lasting change. We use psychodynamic concepts to help understand why an issue may be occurring and combine it with interventions (e.g. positive reinforcement, relaxation training, mindfulness, coping skills) to help improve emotional health and wellness. Using these principles we help our clients and families CREATE a path to their self-declared destinations and make positive changes in their lives.
